Yup, today’s the day. FOUR brand new releases all in stock and shipping now:
Yup. Yet another pre order, this time we’ve got a limited – just 50 copies – cassette version of Mega Ran’s spectacular Extra Credit album. Originally released on CD in September of this year, we’re thrilled to be involved with this limited version, complete with alternate artwork.
I think I started work on this originally about eight years ago. After countless scrapped ideas and much frustration, the new solo recordings from MC iPod are now available to pre order!
- Where Ya Been, iPod? (feat. MC Lars & Dronic)
- Band People Problems
- #DIY (feat. Asher Baker, #heftyrealtalk & Dronic)
- Who Killed Mighty Ducks 4?
I’ve got some of my best friends on guest vocal duties, beat production from long-time iPod collaborators (Hgl, Sycamore Drive, Ankles) and the whole shebang mastered by Jethro from Goldblume. I couldn’t be happier with how it’s turned out; and now it’s your turn to hear it. Pre order your CD right now…
Yup. I said we still had 5 releases before the end of 2017, and here’s the pre-order for the second. Aaahh!!! stalwart Tim Holehouse is back, with a split album alongside Kaleb Stewart. You might be familiar with Kaleb from Grey Goose or seminal 90s/00s hardcore outfit As Friends Rust.
Check out two tracks above, and pre-order your copy right now.
The year is nearly over, yet we’ve got FIVE releases left to come; the first of which is the début album from Norwich hardcore outfit Clown Smash Everything. Check out the video below and pre-order the CD from right here.
As part of my commitment to be as nice to you lot as possible, I’m now offering FREE SHIPPING on any orders over £30 (in the UK, otherwise it’s £40 for Europe and £50 for the rest of the world).
Add everything to your cart as usual, and select the Free Shipping option.
Thanks as ever for your support.
Firstly, there’s a small handful of MC iPod x Dronic tapes leftover, so grab yours today!
Secondly, I’ve added a couple of links to the top of the page. Gig Tickets for the occasional time I’ll run a gig (next up: The Kominas in Cambridge on 17th August) and Discogs, which links to my Discogs seller page. You’ll find Aaahh!!! releases (although it’s cheaper to buy them direct from here) as well as second hand bits and pieces I’m selling. Take a look, yo.
In case you were curious, here’s the tracklisting for “I’ve Wondered Sometimes, Whether I Could be a Rapper” by MC iPod x Dronic:
- Where Ya Been, iPod?
- Peek at Chu
- God is a Bartender
- The Summer of “I Win at Life”
- Hasta Luego
The tape contains exclusive skits and other stuff which isn’t on the download.
So, the lack of new MC iPod material is something of a running joke around here so it was a genuine relief to be able to announce the Prom Night 2002 EP.
In peak iPod fashion, there will be another release coming out before this one! If you saw my last live gig – at Strawberry Fair – you’d have seen that MC iPod is now joined by Dronic, creating a double-headed geek-rap beast. We’re about to release our début collaborative mixtape, and you can join us for the launch gig!
Mixtape artwork and tracklist will be announced soon…
Yup, it’s finally out today. After a successful Kickstarter campaign, and months of planning, we’re finally here. All Kickstarter pledgers will have received their goodies courtesy of Dan earlier in the week, and anyone else can now order a CD from right here.
